Navy to collaborate with Police and other agencies for peaceful elections

The Nigerian Navy intends to collaborate with other security and safety agencies in the country to guarantee a peaceful and successful electoral process this year.

The Vice Admiral also commented on the importance of community education, in order to convince the people of Nigeria that the elections are a necessity to the stability of the country. When the people are adequately informed, he said, they will be less prone to carrying out any violent acts in relation to the election process.
