John Travolta and Kelly Preston are one of Hollywood’s most enduring couples. The two met in 1987 while filming The Experts and they were married in 1991. They have three children together: Jett, Ella, and Benjamin.

The family has long been active in charitable causes, particularly those related to autism and cancer research. In 2018, they founded the Jett Travolta Foundation in honor of their late son. The foundation provides financial assistance to families with autistic children.

Tragedy struck the family in 2009 when their oldest son, Jett, passed away at age 16 from a seizure. Despite this tragedy, the family has remained strong and supportive of one another. In 2010, they welcomed their third child, Benjamin.

In 1991, Travolta went to Switzerland with Preston where Travolta proposed on New Year's Eve backed with a six-carat diamond ring. Travolta bent one knee at the Palace Hotel in Gstaad, Switzerland, and proposed to Kelly with a six-carat yellow-and-white diamond ring.

The actress told ET immediately after her engagement that she can't wait to have children. “We're trying now,” she said. “We might be barefoot and pregnant for the next 10 years.”

According to Closer Weekly, the couple's relationship lasted for nearly 30 years and was characterized by contentment. In 2017, Travolta divulged the key to their relationship longevity. We ‘protect each other and keep our relationship fresh,' he said. ‘We care for each other deeply and protect each other.'

Despite the fact that they have had many good and bad times together, Travolta and his wife have been madly in love for 28 years. On September 5, 2019, the couple commemorated their 28th wedding anniversary by posting sweet Instagram tributes to each other.
